Happy Saturday (…err, Thursday) folks! We are taking a long weekend off from work to spend time with our friends CJ and Alaina that are here visiting from the US. Tomorrow we will be venturing down to Piedmont, Italy for the weekend for the 84th international truffle festival. You may remember
our visit last year to this area. We fell in love with the scenery, wine, and of course...the truffles!

In celebration of our relaxing weekend trip to Italy, I thought I would share one of my favorite quotes about Italy, from the book "Eat, Pray, Love":
“Il bel far niente means 'the beauty of doing nothing'... [it] has always been a cherished Italian ideal. The beauty of doing nothing is the goal of all your work, the final accomplishment for which you are most highly congratulated. The more exquisitely and delightfully you can do nothing, the higher your life's achievement. You don't necessarily need to be rich in order to experience this, either.”
