A few weekends ago we visited the Champagne region of France while traveling en route to visit family in Paris. We only spent a quick afternoon/evening in the area, but we loved the surrounding scenery and estates and we had a wonderful tour of the Moet and Chandon cellars that I would highly recommend -- plus there's just something spectacularly fun about drinking champagne while IN Champagne ;)

HOTEL: We booked
Hôtel Les Grains d'Argent in Dizy (near Epernay) at the last minute, it has a fantastic restaurant downstairs and the hotel was perfect for our quick overnight stop
